Travellers visit Australia to see Sydney, the Rock, the Reef… and the Australian Outback.
To prepare a travel itinerary, make reservations for accommodations, book the flights and so on… well, you need to know where to fly to, don’t you?
Where exactly is this Australian Outback? Or what is it?
To understand the Australian Outback you need to know that Australia is one of the most urbanized countries in the world. Our population is concentrated in the cities along the southern and eastern coast, or not far from it.
We have historically been clinging to the greener fringes of this continent, and been somewhat afraid of the red and dry interior.
As a result the rest of the country is more or less empty: 6.5 million square kilometres (or 2.5 million square miles), inhabited by less than 60,000 people… That’s the Australian Outback.
“The Australian Outback” is not an exact location. The term Outback is used to describe the emptiness, remoteness, and the huge distances of inland Australia, and the fact that most people still don’t know much about it.
So maybe, rather than asking to “see the Outback”, investigate the different Outback attractions, or the different options to travel across part of the Australian Outback. Help your travel agent help you, by being more specific about what you want to see or do.
Here are some ideas:
Ayers Rock and Alice Springs
An obvious choice. The most popular Outback icon, and the town known as “the capital of the Outback”. Ayers Rock and Alice Springs are located in the middle of the Australian continent, a long drive from anywhere. Both have an airport, accommodations and many tour providers. Flying is recommended to save time. You will get to see the spectacular red interior. However, you will not really experience the vastness, the distances, the “feel” of the Outback. What you will experience are lots and lots of other tourists…
Coober Pedy
A surreal place. The South Australian opal mining town is one long day’s drive from Adelaide. Vast treeless plains continue forever…. If you’ve seen the movie Mad Max you’ve already seen them. The town and surrounds possess a desolate beauty that fascinates some, and appals others. But what sparks everybody’s curiosity is that a lot of the town is actually underground, a good way to escape the heat. Underground hotel, underground pool, underground shops and backpackers… and of course there are opals everywhere!
Stuart Highway
When people talk about driving through the Australian Outback they often mean the Stuart Highway. An excellent bitumen road with many services along the way, it will take you from Adelaide in the south, via Coober Pedy, Ayers Rock (on a detour), Alice Springs and Katherine, to Darwin in the north. The Katherine Gorge and Kakadu national parks can be visited on the way, too.) A great drive, period.
The Kimberley
The far north western corner of the Australian continent has been called the Outback of the Australian Outback, it’s so remote. Intense colours, stunning rock formations, spectacular gorges and waterfalls… The drive across the Kimberley, from Darwin in the north to Broome on the west coast, is the most beautiful drive in all of Australia. Bring some time!
The Deserts
Think Outback, think desert. Great Victorian Desert, Gibson Desert, Great Sandy Desert or Tanami to name a few. All of them can be traversed if you are adventurous, but you need to know what you are doing. Don’t be fooled by names like Tanami Highway or Gunbarrel Highway. These aren’t highways. To cross any of the Australian deserts is a serious four wheel drive adventure, unless you join a tour.
There are many more ways to experience a bit of Australian Outback: The Goldfields or the Pilbara in Western Australia, Bourke and Broken Hill in New South Wales, Mt. Isa in Queensland… No matter where you are, there will be some Outback attraction within reach.
And you don’t have to venture all that far to find Outback roads, Outback pubs, and Outback characters. Sometimes it’s as easy as NOT going where the tourism brochures are trying to lead you…

When baseball fans feel that a ballpark is a shrine rather than just a place to watch a baseball game, then there must be something about the park that makes it so great. Whether it’s the view, the enthusiasm, or the game itself, not many activities beat watching an intense game at a place you love. If you want to watch a game where the prices are good and the crowds are even better than these are the parks for you.
First is Miller Park in Milwaukee. With an average ticket price of just $16.86 fans are sure to get a bang for their buck. The building itself almost surreal with its brick faade and steel arches looming above, which makes the park seem as if it would be seen in a videogame rather than in real life. If you’re a fan who likes tailgating then this is the place for you. With the largest tailgating scene in all of MLB’s located here, it’s hard not to be friendly with other fans.
PNC Park, home of the Pittsburg Pirates comes in second place with an average ticket price of $17.08 and more than 36,000 parking spaces available near the park. Not only does the park sell tasty concessions but an Outback Steakhouse is located in left field where fans can enjoy the game while enjoying a great meal. Located in right field is a kid’s section with a mini PNC Park and multipurpose play set for kids ages 5-10. With its throwback design and up-to-date conveniences, this is a park almost any fan will enjoy.
Ranked third in fans’ opinions is Coors Field home of the Colorado Rockies. An average ticket price of $14.92 gives the fans the ability to watch a game without putting a strain on their bank accounts. For fans who like to enjoy a beer or two while watching the game, located in the park is Sandlot Brewery with a wide variety of brews and behind the bullpen is an interactive area with everything from tee-ball cages to a fantasy broadcast booth. Even if you don’t get a good seat in the park you will still have a good line of sight for the game and fans sitting along the first base line there is an excellent view of the sunset over the mountains during evening games.
Number four on the list of best ballparks is Angel Stadium home of the Anaheim Angels. This park has an average ticket price of $17.36 and plenty of handicapped accessible seating. Angel Stadium has a program that allows wheelchair-bound fans to watch batting practice at lower level seating areas. Plus there’s even a 400 seat picnic area beyond center field for fans who like to bring their own snacks. With a new owner whose first priority is fan experience, the park is sure to make you want to be there. Fans support teams in this park so well that people leaving with hoarse throats is not uncommon.
Turner Field, home of the Atlanta Braves is the ballpark that comes in fifth. With an average ticket price of $17.51 and plenty of other attraction in the park fans get what they pay for. Scout’s Alley in left field allows fans to practice their batting and pitching with the interactive exhibits. If you’re a fan with a hearing problem, this is the park for you thanks to the audio amplification devices offered. Fans at this park are able to really get riled up when the tomahawk chop comes out. And finally the new high definition scoreboard in the middle of the park allow fans to have a great view of the score, inning, count, and everything else they need to know.

A sex dong is a traditional sexual toy put to good use by both lads and females. Dildos have extremely made it big ever since glamour films became famous in the eighties. Whilst sensual aid come in various materials, most often the sex toys are phallus shaped. Some toys are specially moulded for going in the bum. Gents who like anal sex with a sex toy regularly choose dildos that touch the prostate because of the good orgasms prostate play with gives them. There are many sensual aids out there for blokes, and dongs are the greatest. Buy Dildos from Sex Bomb and have the best night in ever.
The most common sex dildo uses are vaginal or bottom insertation. Depending on the type of dildo, some dongs can be used for mouth penetration or as mouth gags. Regardless of your sex preference, whether folk are straight, gay or bi, female or male, there is a marital aid out there to please your sexual wishes. Double ended dildos might well be played with between two sex partners at the very same time. The aforementioned marital aids will probably be used for simultaneous vaginal and anal penetration, and when put to use in this fashion sexual play might often be a bit more exciting. Dildos of course fit into harness mounts for bondage fun. Dildos are brilliant fun and a sex toy each and every gal should have in their home.

Something we talk about consistently with our coaching students is the importance of the follow up letter. However, the follow up letter is not limited to those who are operating a lease purchase business. Whatever type of business you are operating, after speaking with a potential client you should be sending some type of follow up correspondence. It could be a letter, a post card, or in some instances an email.
I can’t count the number of deals we have gotten from a follow up letter we sent. The longest time to go by before hearing from a seller was 14 months, but we did hear from them. Why, because I sent a follow up letter and included my business card in that letter. Now with lease purchasing and the card we use, we offer an incentive to sellers to call. Our card has a very memorable tag line, it makes people want to call us! So, you want to be sure your business card distinguishes you from all the rest. Think about it, how many of you have visited open houses and saw the plethora of business cards from real estate agents sitting on a counter top and table. Nothing on those cards distinguishes one from the other.
Some of you have asked, how do I get their address? Ask for it, and I don’t mean at the end of the conversation, because many times they won’t give it to you. For those of us in lease purchasing it is easy because our callers have to tell us their address in order for us to go and take a look at the property.
For those of you running other types of businesses, you will need to take a long hard look at your telephone script and see how you can modify it to incorporate the address as part of your script. Offer something so appealing they are asking you if you want their address so you can send them something!
For those of you that this won’t work for, tell them about your website, or that you would like to send them some special web only offers and see if you can get their address that way.
If all of these fail, invest in a cross checking service, where with your prospects telephone number, you can also gain access to their address!

Are you stuck with great but slow paying clients? It is interesting how your biggest asset (great clients) can also be your biggest liability. But that is how business is. And as an owner you must adapt.
Whether you like it or not, slow paying customers are here to stay. As a rule of thumb, commercial clients pay their bills in 30 to 60 days. And lately, the trend has been deteriorating. So, what do you do if you have slow paying receivables.
Many owners try to go to the bank to get a business loan. Not surprisingly, few business owners get business loans. As a rule, banks will only finance companies that have long and established histories. This is not your case if your company is new or emerging from tough times.
If your biggest challenge is that you cannot afford to wait up to 60 days to get paid by your customers, then the solution is accounts receivable factoring. Most commonly known as factoring, this type of financing eliminates the usual wait to get paid. It provides you with the necessary funds to pay suppliers, meet payroll and take on new business opportunities.
And how does factoring work? Simple:
1. You finish the work and send an invoice to your client. You also send a copy to the accounts receivable factoring company.
2. The financing company advances you 70% to 90% of the invoice (a small reserve is held to handle disputes, etc.)
3. You get the funds in 24 hours
4. As soon the customer pays the invoice to the financing company, they rebate the reserve (less a small fee)
As you can see, accounts receivable factoring can easily be integrated into your business, providing you with prompt invoice payments. Usually, funds are advanced within 24 hours of submitting invoices.
Accounts receivable factoring is easy to qualify for. Accounts can be set up in as little as 4 business days. As opposed to business loans, the main requirement for factoring is to do business with strong credit worthy customers. So if you do business with good commercial clients (or the government), be sure to add factoring to your business tool chest.

The Touch Dual has been a very profitable for HTC as it has been extremely popular with customers. As a entry level phone the Touch Dual is basic but functional compared to more popular models at this price. As you would expect from HTC the overall design of this mobile phone is very good.
The HTC Touch Dual comes equipped with bluetooth, meaning it extremely convenient to integrate with devices, for example hands free sets. The Touch Dual is compatible with 2G GSM 900 / 1800 / 1900 and 3G HSDPA 2100. A 2 MP, 1600×1200 pixels, video; secondary CIF video call camera is integrated into the Touch Dual camera. A WAP 2.0/xHTML, HTML (PocketIE), compatible browser is also included allowing mobile Internet access. For a handset in its price bracket, in terms of weight, the HTC Touch Dual scores very well at 120 g. We found the Touch Dual very compact and easy to carry. In terms of colours the Touch Dual only comes in Silver. Regarding the the display the phone is fitted with a 2.6 inch screen, which, taking into consideration the other options available for this price is a good sized display. The display type on this phone is a TFT touchscreen, 65K colors. The HTC Touch Dual has a battery cell usage of 250 hrs reserve time and talk time of 5:00. A Li-Ion 1120 mAh, battery cell is that comes with the HTC Touch Dual. The HTC Touch Dual is equipped with Polyphonic (40 channels), MP3 ring tones including a vibrating tone. Purchasing online can allow you to take advantage of significant cost savings, it is even possible to get a HTC Touch Dual on a free line rental deal , which, if you read the terms and conditions will not cost a penny.

Dear Dr. J.
It’s not that unusual for our sixteen-year-old daughter to come home after midnight, and sometimes we fall asleep before she gets home. Last week we woke up in the morning and Lisa wasn’t in her bed.
My husband and I panicked! We called every friend of Lisa’s we knew and nobody knew where she was. We then called the police and all the local hospitals. I thought for sure she was dead, or, at the very least, badly injured or something. I didn’t know what to think and my mind was racing to all the terrible possibilities. We were riding around town looking for her when she called us on her cell phone from home
When we got there, I just lost it. I couldn’t stop screaming at her! Later she came to me (when I had calmed down) and told me that she had fallen asleep at her boyfriend’s house (he’s 17). I didn’t even know she was dating somebody. Now I have found out that she’s sleeping with some guy! I don’t know what to do.
Joyce
Dear Joyce
Part of your response is surprise and dismay because your 16-year-old is acting in ways that seem very different from what you expect or want. It can be tempting to try to control her
sexual activity by grounding or punishing her in some way, but that doesn’t usually work. Teenagers who are forbidden to see their “love” often rebel completely. Many of them choose dishonesty and subterfuge to keep their parents from finding out they’re having sex.
This is confusing because if you want your daughter to exercise restraint, but don’t want her to start lying and sneaking around, what do you do? Basic rules such as limits about where
boyfriends are allowed to be, curfew times, and keeping open communication about her relationships are helpful. Along with “house rules”, though, many parents would like to set limits on their adolescents’ sexual experiences. That’s a little more difficult to do.
Sexual experimentation is normal during adolescence. What bothers parents is that the progression of teenage relationships seems so different. The time between the first kiss and intercourse seems to have diminished dramatically, and this is unsettling for most parents. It helps to remember that teenagers have their own concerns about sexuality. The are aware and concerned about pregnancy, sexually transmitted diseases, broken hearts, and bad reputations.
The best advice I can give you is to remember that if teenagers want to have sex, they will find a way to do so. What you want to do is give your daughter guidance about the meaning
of sharing herself sexually with her boyfriend, safe sex, and birth control. Talk to her about what having sex with her boyfriend means to her at this age. Be sure to listen. At 16, this relationship undoubtedly will not be permanent, so talk to her about how many boys she thinks it is appropriate for her to have sex with. Validate her feelings and try to use as many opportunities as you can to give guidance.
Even if she were not having sex, it is important for you to meet the boyfriend she hasn’t told you about. Invite him to your home and make sure he is welcome to spend time there.
If they are not at your house (supervised), they will be somewhere else (unsupervised). If you are willing to get to know him, hopefully you will have a lot more influence on them, and can talk with them about their relationship. I hope he is somebody you will approve of because if he becomes “the enemy” you have lost the opportunity to have a direct connection with your daughter’s new relationship. Stay connected.

Mom is always there for you whether it be listening to your problems, lending you money in hard times, being a shoulder to cry on, or helping you out of a pickle. Mother’s Day is the perfect time to show your mom how much you appreciate everything that she does. You don’t need a lot of money to make your mom or wife feel special on Mother’s Day. Here are some inexpensive yet thoughtful ideas that mom will be sure to love!
Breakfast/Brunch in Bed
If you still live at home this is a particularly special way to show mom that you care. Wake up extra early so you have time to prepare breakfast fit for a queen. Choose a meal that you know your mom will love. For example, if you know that your mom loves scrambled eggs, then make eggs the main dish for breakfast. Jazz them up by adding moms favorite veggies like mushrooms or green peppers. Add toast, English muffins, or bagels for a yummy side dish. Be sure to include a variety of beverages for mom as well. A fresh cup of hot coffee and a side of orange juice adds a nice touch to breakfast in bed. Put the meal on a pretty tray and add a fresh cut flower and the morning paper. Mom is sure to enjoy some quiet time reading and eating from the comfort of her own bed.
Coupon Book/Handmade Card
Mom’s always love handmade items from their children. Handmade cards are easy and inexpensive. The Internet is full of free printable sites that provide free printable Mother’s Day cards that can be printed and personalized for the special mom in your life.
A coupon book is a great way to provide your service to mom, free of charge. Simply cut some paper into the size of coupons and write in things that you are willing to do for mom, free of charge and complaining! Cleaning the bathroom, doing the dishes, and running errands are some ideas to include in your coupon book.
Spa Day
Not everyone can afford to send their mom to a lavish spa for Mother’s Day. Instead, you can give mom the spa treatment in the comfort of your own home. Start by giving your mom an invitation to “spa day.” Include all of the activities that you have planned and give her a choice of spa treatments to choose from. These treatments can include, a foot soak and massage, a hot oil treatment for her hair, a hand soak and manicure, a facial or a back massage. You can arrange all of these spa treatments by checking out your local discount store. Most stores offer a wide and inexpensive variety of facial masks, hot oil treatments for hair, manicure/pedicure supplies and much more. Greet mom at the door with a glass of wine or champagne and whisk her away to a day of pampering that she will be sure to remember for years to come.

Ideas for creative home businesses are everywhere. Many of them
are already in your head, and you just don’t know it. Here are
some questions to get your own creative business ideas flowing:
- What hobbies do I enjoy?
- What do I already know how
to do?
- Do I want to pursue this full-time or part-time?
- Am I good with my hands?
- Do I want to learn a new craft?
- What do I love?
When it comes to creative home businesses, the last question may
be the most important one of all. What do you love to do most?
Write? Paint? Embroider? Sew? Build things? Decorate? This is
where your passion is, and what you’re passionate about, you’re
most likely to be successful at doing.
Too many people spend their days at jobs they don’t even like,
much less love. If you’re considering starting a creative home
business, this is your chance to do what you truly enjoy.
One idea for a creative home business is a home sewing business.
Handmade wedding gowns and bridesmaids’ dresses are always in
demand. There are also opportunities for machine embroidering
everything from sports teams’ jerseys, caps, and jackets to
beautiful beach towels.
Handmade draperies are also hot items these days. So if you’re
great at sewing or machine embroidery, this is a great area for
your creative home business.
Maybe you like to build things. Handcrafted birdhouses,
doghouses, toys, as well as many other things, are always in
demand. Many times you can sell these items right from your
front yard. Or you can sell them in online auctions. If you have
a special niche item that you love to build, you may even want
to have a kiosk at your local mall to sell your goods.
Jewelry making is one of the hottest trends going. This makes
selling your handcrafted jewelry easier than ever. Specialty
stores and upscale boutiques will buy all you can make, and at a
premium price. You can also sell the handmade jewelry from your
creative business on your own website. The cost of websites has
come down drastically in the last few years, and they are great
for selling to a much larger group of people than you could
otherwise.
If you love to paint, get your paintings to a local art gallery
that focuses on local artists. Your creative home business can
get a turbo charge this way. Good art galleries are always on
the lookout for fresh, new talent and are willing to have shows
where you can sell your paintings. Another idea for selling your
paintings (that not a lot of artists think of!) is through
interior decorators. They, too, are always looking for unique
art for their clients’ homes and apartments. So arrange to show
some of them your work and you’ll likely make several sales
immediately.
Now that you hopefully have your own creative business idea,
here are a few things you need to consider:
- What supplies and/or equipment do I need?
- Should I
hire an accountant?
- Do I have the space I need in my home?
- Does my area/state require me to get a business license?
- How do I prepare for tax time?
- Is there a market for my
items?
- What’s my competition doing?
- How do I advertise?
After you’ve done the needed research, write out a business
plan. And then follow it. You can’t make a wedding gown without
a pattern or plan. You can’t build a business without one
either. But with a good business plan, effort, determination,
and patience, you CAN have the successful creative home business
you’ve always dreamed of having.

We all love traffic, right? The more we have the better.
Never can have enough of it.
And if we have free traffic, and an extra candy with it,
such as the word “targeted” added to it, then we’re in
heaven (almost there anyway, because St. Paul technically
has not provided us with a free pass to the Golden Gates,
lol).
You can change St.Paul for Buddha and heaven for nirvana if
you wish, or use another allegory which better suites your
religion or belief. The fact remains the same - to succeed
on the Internet, we need a truckload of targeted traffic,
and it’s much better if it’s free or at least inexpensive.
So the real question is how we can achieve this internet
marketing heaven. I’m familiar with several major
“passwords” providing the pass to the Gates - Search Engines
and Search Directories, Pay-Per-Click Search Engines, Joint
Ventures, Auctions, Link Exchanges, Forums and Newsgroups,
and of course Blogging, Pinging and other RSS-related
technologies.
I love RSS, it’s possibilities are endless. Old email
system, sadly enough, is dying because of all the spam
floating around. These days ISPs go nuts to stop anything
that even smells like spam. Don’t get me wrong. I am not
encouraging spammers in any way, but legitimate marketing
business suffers significant losses because of all these
anti-spam filters. And RSS easily eliminates most of the
problems… However, this time RSS is not our main theme of discussion. We sure will return to it later, again and
again.
And I didn’t mention List Building yet, did I? Well,
actually, List Building, in my humble opinion, is not even a password to the pass - it’s the only key to the Gate. No
list - no game. Sorry.
All these techniques should serve one purpose - no, not to
make a sale, but to help you build HIS HIGHNESS LIST.
Why? If you direct your traffic to a sales page, you may or
may not close the deal. And even if you do close it, it will
be one-time-only you-got-lucky-this-time event.
Even if you’re selling high-ticket items, the life time
value of your customer is much higher then the price of any
particular sale.
You should treat your subscribers with respect, always
giving them useful information, unique deals, discounts and
freebies. Don’t sell them crap only because you want to make
a few extra dollars. List is your virtual “real estate”,
your most valuable internet marketing property.
Is there anybody else you should treat with even more
respect than your subscribers? You probably think I would
say “NO”. But the answer is -”YES!”. There is only one
category of people to whom you should pay even more
attention in your business practices. I’m talking about Your
Joint Venture partners.
These are the people with whom you should communicate on
one-on-one basis. No broadcasting, only personal e-mail,
chat, forum, call, or whatever. They deserve to have each
your new product free, they deserve the highest commission,
and the opportunity to start market your product with a
special pricing, the lowest you offer for this product. May
be you even should allow them to market it a few days
earlier, before you release it to the public, and even
BEFORE YOU START MARKETING IT YOURSELF!
So who are those hand-picked people? These are recognized
internet marketing experts who have the broad access to the niche market for your product, in most cases they already
have lists of their own (or at least are building their
lists).
Before starting your business relationship with
them, you want to make sure that you’re “on the same page”
regarding ethical questions… I wouldn’t go into much
details here, we all know the ropes - are they trustworthy,
team players or self-centered, focused on one time deals
with you or on lasting relationships, and so on, and so
forth.
Always be on a lookup for new partners, you never know when
you can meet them. Efficient JV-marketing is one of the very effective ways to skyrocket your business.
